🔹 Housing Market Snapshot – Fall 2025

• Buyer activity is increasing with interest rate cuts earlier this year.

• More listings are coming on the market as sellers gain confidence.

• Condo sales remain strong, especially in downtown Toronto and Mississauga.

For families, freehold homes in Brampton, Mississauga, and Scarborough continue to attract multiple offers, especially those with rental basements.

🔹 Mortgage Update

As a Mortgage Agent, I’m closely watching the lending side:

• The benchmark rate is now at 2.5%, which has made mortgages more affordable.

• Fixed rates are trending lower, creating opportunities for first-time buyers.

• Pre-approvals are very important right now since demand is rising again.

🔹 My Advice for Buyers & Sellers

• Buyers: Get pre-approved early, lock in your rate, and be ready to move quickly on the right property.

• Sellers: Stage your home and price strategically — buyers are active, but still sensitive to affordability.

• Investors: Rental demand is strong. Properties with secondary units (basements, duplexes) are excellent opportunities.
